| Description |
This Harley was originally sold for $30. This 1916
11 HP Model 16F motorcycle was purchased new in Edinburgh by an officer
in the Royal Engineers who was stationed near Inverkiething.
The bike was first ridden with a light torpedo sidecar, but then mostly
solo. The letter that comes with the bike is very detailed as to
exactly where the bike ventured to over the years and what was done to
it along the way. The letter is written by the second owner of the
bike, who was the brother of the first owner, both in Scotland. |
