Description One of the last bikes built at Billy Lane's Shop, Chopper's Inc, in Melbourne, FL.  Motor is 80 ci EVO with head work.  New carb.  Single fire ignition with electric start.  The bike starts easy and runs good.  Geared for highway use with 48 tooth sprocket in rear.  Very dependable ride with only 1,500 miles on it. 

 

Specs:  Custom-built wishbone Frame. 1948 Springer HD. Headlight is from a ’37 Harley.  21” Whitewall tire.  Ball-Milled drag bars with internal throttle.  Old-Skool Axe-tank.  Rear fender 14-gauge rolled & hammered w/ a 3/8” lip.  Rear wheel is 18” that sits on a 160 Metzler tire with a Jay Brake, over the fender is a 3 1/2 ft chick-stick (sissy bar) that has a custom inlaid copper spade.   Both front pegs are chromed horse shoes (thanks to “Buck”).  Jockey shift is a gun cylinder.  Handmade aluminum Wings attached to neck of the frame. The tail light is from a ’59 Caddy.  Upper motor mount is custom built – with a chrome hammer (used for disgruntled cage-drivers).

Frame completely molded.  Paint is a violet-purple base covered by a large indigo flake.  Custom paint also on 3” belt and oil tank reflecting “Aces and Eights” custom paint work.

Exhaust has 60’s-style upswept pipes “cocktail shakers”, with hand-drilled copper heat shields. 

Power: An 80” EVO motor (balanced and ported).  Milled and CC’d heads, the Cam is an Andrews, Carb is an S&S with a ’37 Ford V-8 hubcap cover for Air Cleaner, Ignition is a single-fire Dyna, Oil pump is S&S high volume.  All this hooked up to a 3” BDL belt drive.  5-speed Andrews transmission, rear cog is 48” tooth.
