The new OHC Crocker engine built in circa 1933 was to supercede the successful early OHV Crocker Speedway engine. Fuel is fed to the intake port by a remote dual float Amal racing carburetor and spark is supplied by a Lucas racing magneto. Unfortunately, Crocker shifted his priorities to building a V-Twin road machine and dropped the Speedway Overhead Cam engine project. 1959 | Panther | Sloper | 600cc | Yes |
The Panther Sloper engine, designed by Granville Bradshaw, remained
unchanged for 25 years, and the 650cc 'heavyweight' had many of the
Model 100 components. The increased capacity was achieved by boring out
the Model 100 cylinder by 1mm and increasing the stroke by 6mm. As
well as increased low speed torque, this improved acceleration and top
end cruising speed. This is a very nice restored example of
the Panther Sloper.

1926 | Ace | 4 Cylinder | Yes |
This beautiful motorcycle was built
well over twenty-five years ago by a true classic motorcycle enthusiast.
The builder contracted the now legendary Ken Young to take the best that
this engine design could offer, and build him the most reliable and
dependable motor possible. Borrowing from Ace's little brother "and
predecessor", the Indian-4, Ken took a later lower end with the heavier
duty crank assembly design and mated it with the earlier parts of the
Ace motor. With this combination, Ken produced a very reliable
power plant that would withstand better than average use over a period
of time. This bike is an excellent runner. Click on photo for
