Description Has been in storage (fogged, etc) for approximately 15 years.  Current owner purchased this bike in 1988, as an employee of Yamaha Motor Corp US, to race the first AHRMA National MX in Gainsville, FL, in 1989.  He wanted the "baddest" thing out there!!.  He prepped the bike over the winter.  Prior to his owning the bike, it was used as a hillclimber (lengthened swingarm).  He installed a stock swingarm, did top end, checked bottom end---the bike finished second overall to an identical SC500.  Maico's were in the back!!  He trail rode the bike once before he fogged/drained/blew/oiled and again stored it.  The bike came out of storage again about 15 years ago.  He changed rear tire and geared it up for vintage flat track racing and finishing 6th.  Bike was then again fogged/drained/blew/oiled and stored.  Bike has always had original equipment new parts installed whenever possible and currently has brand new rear tire.  It also comes with some spare parts, i.e. two new kick levers (less lower knuckle), one new rear rim, several NOS cables, new chain covers, new shift drums, new clutch basket (inner hub and pressure plates), new piston rings (4 sets), used mag cover and oil injection cover, used kick lever complete, used SC500 complete lower end, used SC500 complete motor and various NOS transmission gears and shafts. (see photo above).  Bike is selling on Bill of Sale with NO RESERVE.
